Surat International Airport is running on more clean energy. It has installed two solar power plants with a combined capacity of 140 kWp, which generate about 533 units of electricity a day, roughly 17,000 units a month. The airport also buys green electricity and reuses treated wastewater as part of its push to cut its carbon footprint.
સુરત ઇન્ટરનેશનલ એરપોર્ટ હવે વધુ સ્વચ્છ ઊર્જા પર ચાલે છે. એરપોર્ટ પર કુલ 140 kWp ક્ષમતાના બે સોલાર પાવર પ્લાન્ટ લગાવાયા છે, જે રોજ આશરે 533 યુનિટ એટલે મહિને આશરે 17,000 યુનિટ વીજળી બનાવે છે. એરપોર્ટ ગ્રીન વીજળી પણ ખરીદે છે અને ટ્રીટ કરેલા ગંદા પાણીનો ફરી ઉપયોગ કરે છે.
सूरत इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट अब ज़्यादा साफ ऊर्जा पर चल रहा है। एयरपोर्ट पर कुल 140 kWp क्षमता के दो सोलर पावर प्लांट लगाए गए हैं, जो रोज़ करीब 533 यूनिट यानी महीने में करीब 17,000 यूनिट बिजली बनाते हैं। एयरपोर्ट ग्रीन बिजली भी खरीदता है और ट्रीट किए गंदे पानी का फिर से इस्तेमाल करता है।
