With Navratri beginning on October 11, a new demand has been raised for a ‘GEN Z vacation’ for students.
Bhagwa Sena has urged the government to consider holidays during Navratri, pointing to the gap between late-night garba timings and early morning school hours. The organisation argues that if students are expected to attend garba late into the night, going to school early the next morning could be difficult.
The demand has been raised ahead of Navratri, but no official decision on a GEN Z vacation has been announced by the government so far.
