Surat's textile research body MANTRA is going global in packaging. Firms from the UAE and Oman want it to inspect factories and test the PP woven sacks, laminated bags and non-woven bags they buy from Surat, Vapi, Morbi, Rajkot and other Gujarat hubs. MANTRA runs NABL-accredited labs under the Ministry of Textiles.

सूरत की टेक्सटाइल रिसर्च संस्था MANTRA अब पैकेजिंग में ग्लोबल हो रही है. UAE और ओमान की कंपनियां सूरत, वापी, मोरबी, राजकोट समेत गुजरात से खरीदे जाने वाले PP वुवन सैक, लैमिनेटेड और नॉन-वुवन बैग की फैक्ट्री जांच और टेस्टिंग MANTRA से करवाना चाहती हैं.
