Rajasthan Council Organises Hariyali Teej Mela and Independence Day Celebration Rourkela : 15/8(SatyaNewsAlert) The Rajasthan Council organised a grand Hariyali Teej Mela along with an Independence Day celebration. The Rajasthan Mahila Mandal also hosted a vibrant Teej Mela, which was formally inaugurated at 11:00 AM by lighting the ceremonial lamp. From 3:00 PM onwards, the fair featured a wide range of stalls offering various items, including traditional clothing, Rakhis, Gods and goddesses attire, household products for women, kitchenware, and decorative materials. A dedicated selfie counter was also set up as one of the major attractions for visitors. The traditional swings at the Teej Mela proved to be another major attraction, adding to the festive atmosphere. The event was further enhanced by an entertaining dance-drama performance by artists from Kolkata, West Bengal, who captivated the audience with their colourful and impressive presentation. The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation and provided visitors with a vibrant blend of Rajasthani tradition, culture, entertainment, and festive spirit.
