#assam: Papon and Shreya Ghoshal have joined hands for ‘Baarixare Baan’, a powerful musical tribute to the people of Assam affected by the devastating floods. Inspired by the pain, loss and resilience of flood-affected communities, the song brings together several artists and collaborators, including Kalyan Baruah, Seen By Pand and Darren Heelis. According to Papon’s social media post, all revenue generated from the song will go towards supporting the affected communities and rebuilding their lives and livelihoods following the devastating floods of July 19, 2026. Through ‘Baarixare Baan’, the artists aim to amplify the voices and struggles of flood-affected people while spreading a message of hope, resilience, long-term rehabilitation and sustainable solutions for Assam.
