80th Independence Day Celebrated with Grandeur at Bonai Raja Dharini Khel Padia Bonai, August 15: The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at Raja Dharini Khel Padia in Bonai. Bonai Sub-Collector Ashok Kumar Das unfurled the National Flag and received the ceremonial salute during the Independence Day celebrations. As many as 19 contingents from various departments and organisations participated in the grand parade, showcasing discipline, coordination and patriotic spirit. The impressive march-past added to the significance of the national celebration. Despite the persistent rain, the spirit of Independence Day remained undiminished. The celebrations continued with great enthusiasm, featuring cultural programmes and other patriotic activities that drew the attention and participation of the local people. The colourful celebrations reflected the strong spirit of patriotism among the people of Bonai, with officials, students, security personnel and members of the public coming together to commemorate the historic occasion.
