#News | The All Dibrugarh Students’ Union visited Marwari Hindi High School and took up concerns related to the basic facilities and educational environment of the institution. During the visit, the students’ union donated five ceiling fans to the school authorities for use in the classrooms. The initiative comes amid concerns raised earlier regarding non-functional fans, damaged lights, sanitation and other basic infrastructure at the historic school. Meanwhile, the school management committee has installed new water facilities and repaired toilets on the premises. Fans were also seen newly installed at the school, with the developments coming after several basic infrastructure issues had reportedly remained pending for a long period. The school has recently drawn attention over several concerns, including the mid-day meal system, hygiene, classroom conditions, water facilities, toilets and the functioning of electrical equipment. Students’ groups had earlier inspected the premises and raised questions over the availability and maintenance of essential facilities.
