For Episode 2 of Celebrating our Heroes from Dehradun, we asked a veteran how he communicated with his family during the time of his service. His answer was: “There was no means of communication, just photos to look at.” It’s truly unimaginable for us in a time when staying connected is only a message or a call away. Yet, our heroes served through those distances, carrying the love of their families with them every day.
