The Meghalaya Government has imposed an immediate b@n on the sale, stocking and distribution of Sting Energy Drink across the state, citing concerns over its c@ffeine content, ingredients, safety and labelling compliance.
The order follows a request for action by the A’chik State Peoples’ Front (ASPF) after the alleged de@th of a student reportedly linked to consumption of the beverage.
The b@n will remain in effect until official laboratory analysis is completed.
